EduTone Connectors are now available on-demand in the Google Apps Marketplace

Alameda, CA – January 25, 2011 – EduTone Corporation announced today the immediate availability of the EduTone Xchange™ - Google Apps Marketplace Edition, bringing Single Sign-On and automated end-user account provisioning capabilities to third-party education enterprise applications from within Google Apps for Education™.

The first two EduTone Connectors that are available immediately are for Moodle* and Sakai*, both of which are open-source learning management systems widely used by education institutions worldwide. In the coming months EduTone plans to roll out a large subset of its existing EduTone Connectors library, which currently includes over 150 Connectors, as they become optimized for the Google Apps Marketplace™. The cloud-hosted EduTone Connectors for Google Apps™ are available for free trials to Google Apps customers globally and are priced for as little as $25/month for any education institution with up to 500 Google Apps end-users.

The EduTone Xchange Platform was originally launched in July 2008 and has been licensed by over 3,000 schools globally, including a statewide deployment in Pennsylvania.
